What should I wear?

We dress casual.  We believe what a person looks like on the outside is not nearly as important as what is on the inside.  At The Church on Rush Creek you will see blue jeans, khakis, dresses, and skirts.  Dress however you feel comfortable.

What are your services like?

We strive to create an environment for worship where people are encouraged to experience the presence of God.  Our music style is an expression of contemporary culture yet is driven by lyrics that reflect our reverence to an awesome and holy God.  Our messages are Bible based, creative, and offer practical insights to relevant issues that concern everyone. We want your worship experience at The Church on Rush Creek to be one of the best hours of your week!

What about my children?

Our Younger Preschoolers meet in the south end of our worship complex in Discovery Land. That means that our littlest ones are literally a few steps away from their parents in the worship center. In Discovery Land, babies and toddlers receive loving, age appropriate teaching and care from committed and trained adults. There are many features to put parents at ease including a central registration desk where you sign-in your child and collect a security tag as well as a nursing room for new mothers.

Our Older Preschoolers meet in The Back Porch. Here children participate in hands-on Bible learning experiences taught by trained and caring adults. In The Back Porch, kids participate in a rotating classroom system where they spend time in music, Bible story and crafts.

Kindergarten thru 4th Graders spend Sunday morning in a small group experience for children. During their hour in The Outlet (Pre-Kindergarten), The Lab (Kindergarten - 2nd Grade) or The Roof (3rd & 4th Grade), kids connect with friends and are challenged by their small group leaders to put feet to what they’ve learned.

The Break Room is our Sunday morning small group experience for 5th & 6th Graders. We recognize that preteens face a unique set of challenges as they literally face junior high. That’s why we’ve created The Break Room – a place where 5th-6th graders can be themselves, learn more about God’s love for them and be encouraged by leaders who are called to work with this specific age group. Kids will participate in small group discussion time on topics that hit home and learn the Biblical answers to the challenges they face at school everyday.

Where does my teenager plug-in?

IGNITE (7th -12th grade) is a unique event designed to challenge teens to become all that God wants them to be.  This vibrant environment gives students opportunities to hang out with friends while partaking in crazy games, dynamic worship, and listening to an interactive message that encourages students to live in way that honors God.

Do you have Sunday School?

The short answer is “No”.  Sunday morning is built around three priorities: worship, children, and serving.  In order to do all three well we moved our morning bible studies to evening and mid-week LifeGroups.  LifeGroups are groups of 8-12 people getting together to do "life together”.
