Children with a wide variety of special needs can experience loving care in the children's ministry of Rush Creek.  We strive to meet each child's unique physical, social and developmental needs.  Children are included in small groups and worship times in the setting that fits them best.  Rush Creek has volunteers who specifically focus on these kids who are Special by Design.

Families who have children with special needs are free to bring their children to any of the ministry hours while parents attend adult worship.  It is often helpful to contact our children's minister prior to your first visit so that we can prepare to best meet your family's needs from the start.

In addition to Sunday morning small groups, Real Life and Children’s Ministries are thrilled to announce a new support group for families who have children with special needs.

This monthly support group will meet at the Green Oaks campus on the second Friday of each month from 7-9pm.  Childcare reservations can be made by emailing  or by calling the church office and asking for Kari.  

The Special by Design ministry periodically hosts respite care nights.  All children in the family are invited to a night of fun while parents enjoy time together.
